Prowrap releases sustainability report, highlighting industry-leading approach to responsible food wrapping
Prowrap has released its new sustainability report, highlighting the great strides it has made in environmental performance and innovative product design.
Released as part of its drive to lead the industry with transparency and innovation, the report outlines the company’s impressive emissions reductions and how they were delivered, in addition to a comprehensive list of its environmental accreditations. The report also offers insights into Prowrap’s cutting-edge Bristol facility, which leads the industry in sustainable manufacturing. For example, the company has cut CO2 emissions by almost a third since 2024, aided by its adoption of a range of more efficient energy sources. Other highlights include an incredible 98% reduction in electricity-related emissions since 2024, and zero waste sent to landfill in 2025.
In addition, the report reveals how Prowrap’s renowned product portfolio, including the Speedwrap Pro wrapping dispensers and its plastic-free refill roll cores, is sparking a waste reduction revolution in kitchens across the country.
