2025 is ending on a high note for Prowrap, with not one but three new additions to the finance team: Sarah Pain, Amanda Lee and Kathy Stenning.

As well as managing our day-to-day financial needs, they join with a mission to take Prowrap to the next level by helping to measure and monitor our progress. It’s another way that Prowrap are committing to sustained growth across all areas of the business.

Read on to find out more about our new hires.

Sarah Pain

Sarah joins as our new management accountant, reporting to our financial director, Tarryn Brownlee. After excelling in all things maths at school, she signed up to an accountancy fast-track course and soon found work for a bookkeeper in Bristol. Since then, she has gained experience with a waste management company, a Bristol golf club and an events caterer. She likes that accountancy offers the opportunity to work for companies of all shapes and sizes. Outside of work, Sarah’s priority is her dog, a miniature Jack Russell with a lot of character.

In her new role, Sarah will be responsible for taking a holistic view of the company, looking into our teams and processes to identify the drivers of our success.

Amanda Lee

Our new assistant accountant Amanda has also had a career which has taken her through several different industries, so she brings 25 years of financial control experience to the team.

Her financial career began after university as an Assistant Accountant at a CCTV/security manufacturing company in Wales. She later relocated to Bath, where she quickly secured the Financial Controller role at Frontline Display International, a point-of-sale advertising company. She subsequently spent over 18 years as Financial Controller for Paperbagco, where she built and managed the finance and reporting duties, before the company’s acquisition ultimately led to her redundancy.

At Prowrap, Amanda will be responsible for weekly KPI reporting and supporting the other members of the finance team. She’s enjoyed her time with us so far, learning about the company and internal accounts processes. She’s looking forward to getting to know the team and using her experience to support the accounting function in the company’s growth and success.

Kathy Stenning

Kathy is our new accounts administrator – she’ll be looking after our day-to-day transactions and making sure everything keeps running smoothly.

Although she first worked in accounts at the beginning of her career, she has since trained as a beauty therapist, operated her own salon and worked as a lettings agent throughout the local area. As a social person who enjoys getting to know new people, she enjoyed each of these roles, but they didn’t come with very social hours – who wants to work on a Saturday?! It was this work-life balance that drew her back towards accountancy. It was a big decision to leave the estate agents after eight years, but she has more time for the most important things in life.

For the last two years, Kathy has covered sales and purchase ledgers for Alec Jarrett, a meat wholesaler on the outskirts of Bristol. There was a lot to learn over those two years, but she really enjoyed it – of all her roles, Kathy still finds accountancy the most interesting and rewarding job she’s had.
